First Day of School

Orientation was a huge success as we welcomed new and returning students. The two day event is a fantastic introduction to the SAIT experience. The event provides valuable information about SAIT services that will help students start off on the right track.

Students who attend orientation:

• Have higher grade point averages than those who don’t attend;
• Are more confident about accessing help on campus;
• Are more prepared to deal with the academic demands of post-secondary education;
• Feel more connected to the SAIT community.

These are all great reasons to attend Orientation, not to mention the free food and pad folios!

Before hitting the road I am participating in Calgary Corporate Challenge activities including Big Bike, Torch Relay and 10km race. Here is Jay and I after running the Torch Relay showing SAIT spirit!

I am just finishing the final details of my travel season. I can’t wait to meet future SAIT Alumni.
