I was back in British Columbia for another busy recruiting week. We traveled over 1500 kms and visited some very interesting towns. In Northern BC, the forestry industry is very strong and there were many logging trucks on the highways. The scenery in this area is beautiful with lots of wildlife to look out for.
Even though the schools we visited were small, sometimes less than a hundred students, they were all interested to learn about post secondary in Alberta. I had lots of inquiries about our engineering technology programs including Civil Engineering, Petroleum Engineering and Power Engineering.Not only were the students interested in completing a diploma but they were curious about our transfer options to complete a degree. SAIT transfer agreements are continuously expanding and are an integral part of the services we provide to our students.
I'll be heading up to Lac La Biche next week for a Region Career & Education Expo. Come explore the North and visit me there!
